The following descriptions are presented in order to inform about scientific facts determining the action of specific ingredients on the human body.

Biotin (Vitamin B7) is essential for the proper course of myelin synthesis (axon sheath) and plays an important role in obtaining energy for nerve cells. In addition, it protects the circulatory system, prevents atherosclerosis, improves the condition of the skin, hair and nails. About 45% of myelin's lipids are phospholipids, they are: plasmalogens, phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine. Biotin is a coenzyme of acetyl-CoA carboxylase and it participates directly in the synthesis of fatty acids (KT). It has been proven that vitamin H deficiency determines a drastic decrease in the level of phospholipids in cell membranes and contributes to disturbances in the functioning of myelin synthesizing enzymes. This is associated with loss of muscle coordination, lack of ability to absorb information or the occurrence of epilepsy. Vitamin B7 is soluble in water, so it is best to use it without a meal. However, it is important to dose biotin at higher doses than recommended, when consuming large amounts of eggs, because they are rich in protein - avidin, which inactivates and prevents the absorption of this vitamin, contributing to its deficiency in the body. Choline (Vitamin B4) is a natural organic chemical compound that, when crossing the blood-brain barrier, acts on the central nervous system. It allows you to maintain the normal condition of neurons and affect the development of new cells. In addition, it improves the integrity and fluidity of nerve cells. It affects the improvement of memory. Ueland P.M., Choline and betaine in health and disease, J Inherit Metab Dis., 2011 Cohen BM, et al, Decreased brain choline uptake in older adults. An in vivo proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy study, JAMA.,1995 Thiamine (Vitamin B1) participates in many important metabolic changes in the body as a coenzyme. It protects the nerves from damage and ensures the proper quality of transmission in the nervous system. It affects the improvement of memory and cognitive abilities. Taking appropriate doses of thiamine ensures proper functioning of the nervous system. Importantly, thiamine is responsible for the transformation of carbohydrates from food, which are the basic source of energy for both the body and the nervous system. Independent studies have confirmed that thiamine is involved in the formation of myelin sheaths. Thanks to this, its use is necessary to protect the nerves from damage, as well as to ensure the proper quality of neurotransmission.

Thiamine is a water-soluble vitamin, its excess is not toxic, because its absorption from the gastrointestinal tract is limited, and the remaining part is regularly removed with urine (this vitamin is soluble in water). J Pharm Pharmacol 2005; 57: 1221-9 Bakopa (smallbottom bacus) is responsible for synaptic communication based on faster transmission between synapses and nerve cell receptors. It improves the brain's functioning, positively affects concentration, improves memory, and acts neuroprotically. It can be used as an aid in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
