Our Vitamin D3 is a natural product that has been isolated from lanolin. Only such a vitamin is the most effective and distinguishes itself from others on the market by 70% higher bioavailability.

In the technological process of production, lanolin is purified, which leads to the formation of 7-dehydrocholesterol - the same precursor of vitamin D that is present in our skin.

Used substances are supplied by DSM Nutritional Products Ltd Switzerland, which guarantees the absolute highest quality of the vitamin.

To answer briefly the question of who should supplement vitamin D3 - the answer is simple - practically everyone.

At the time of the discovery of the VDR receptor of this vitamin in most extracellular cells, the perception of the justification of its supplementation completely changed. Vitamin D3 affects most of the systems in the human body, the ailments of which we often deal.

The first of these is the musculoskeletal system, i.e. synergistic cooperation between muscles and bones. Everyone knows the effect of vitamin D3 on the skeletal system and its weakness in its deficiency. However, little is said about the effect of vitamin D3 on muscles, where in its deficiency there are serious health problems associated with reduced mobility and weakening of antigravity muscles. Antigravitational muscles are the muscles that are responsible for maintaining a vertical body posture. Thanks to vitamin D3 (stimulation of protein synthesis), the number of type II muscle cells also increases, which affects their strength.

The connection of vitamin D3 with the respiratory system should be combined with its importance for the immune system. It participates in the production of natural antibiotics: defensin and cathelicidin. According to the literature, vitamin D3 deficiencies have been associated with a higher incidence of respiratory infections and asthma.

Studies on vitamin D3 have also revealed its association with obesity. The aforementioned VDR receptor has also been found in adipose tissue and its dependence on vitamin D3 (calcitriol) has been found. This suggests that this vitamin is involved in regulating the metabolism of this tissue. In pathological obesity, EFSA and IOM recommended supplementation with increased doses of vitamin D3.

The complex mechanisms of action of vitamin D3 cause that this vitamin participates in the pathogenesis of blood vessel diseases, which has initiated fruitful research into its role in cardiovascular diseases.

Finally, we come to the immune system and the role of vitamin D3 in supporting the treatment of MS. There are no better recommendations for its use than the results obtained by the neurologist Cicero Coimbra in the treatment of MS.

Vitamin D3:

  • supports the proper functioning of the brain and plays an important role in its development
  • has a beneficial effect on the entire nervous system and muscle spasms, including the heart,
  • participates in the process of cell division,
  • has a positive effect on the immune system by supporting T-lymphocytes in the fight against infections.
